Approval of the Minutes

The Minutes for April were approved. The Minutes for May are outstanding. The 
IETF Chair requested that the Wiki be expanded to include the ability to vote 
on the Minutes on-line, and this was agreed upon. The IAOC volunteered to 
produce the first draft of Minutes for the IAOC retreat. 

IAD Report for June 8, 2006

The IAD reported that the Montreal IETF registrations were proceeding, with 440 
registrations and 68 letters of invitation as of the current date. He expected 
to announce the venue for the Fall IETF meeting later the same day. Venue 
selection for the 2007 meetings is proceeding. 

There has yet been no response to the RFC Editor RFI.

The IAD discussed the latest budget projections for 2006 and improvements made 
in the reporting process in response to IAOC requests.

The IAOC will have a conference call on the NeuStar Secretariat Services (NSS) 
contract revenue with NSS personnel on June 19th. 

- ISOC board agenda Morocco June/July 2006

The IAOC discussed its presentation to the ISOC Board Meeting in Morocco.

The IAD reported that he had prepared a rough outline of the RFC Editor RFP 
with Leslie Daigle and would be preparing a draft before the next meeting. 
Leslie Daigle reported on the discussion of this matter on the main IETF list. 
A special mailing list has been set up specifically for this discussion. 

- Meeting Planning

Bids have been requested for the network for the Fall, 2006, IETF meeting, and 
some are expected shortly. 

- Evaluation
-- IAD goals 2006-2007

Lynn St Amour described the current status of the IAD evaluation. She reported 
that they plan to address the IAD's goals for 2007 this Fall to get his review 
and goal setting process synchronized with the larger ISOC cycle, with operates 
on a calendar year basis.

The IAD reported that the first draft of the agenda for the Montreal meeting 
was to go out on the 9th. 

The IAOC discussed the meetings it would like to have in Montreal, and the 
timing of those meetings. 

- ICANN notification

A draft for this is in preparation.

House Keeping
- calendar

Leslie Daigle requested that a calendar be prepared for IAOC activities for the 
rest of the Month. The IAOC decided that the next call on the 15th would be a 
regular IAOC call and the call on the 22nd would be a IETF Trust call.
