The IAD described the current status of the IASA Budget review. The Budget 
Subcommittee had directed a series of questions at the Management of NeuStar 
Secretariat Services (NSS_concerning their costs and expenses under the 
proposed NSS Contract Amendment; a response has been obtained from NSS and was 
reviewed by the IAOC. The IAOC also discussed Tools Development costs and 
Administrative Expenses in the revised Budget. 

RFC Editor RFP/contracting 

The IAD described the current status of the review of responses to the RFC 
Editor RFP, which each proposal compared to each item in the Statement of Work 
(SOW) for this work. 

Two of the three potential vendors for the RFC Editor RFP were asked to edit 3 
Internet Drafts for comparison with the current copy-editing practice. The IAOC 
discussed the review process for these trial edits, which have all now been 
received. 

The IAOC discussed the treatment of IPR under a new RFC Editor Contract.

IETF Meeting Planning 

The IAD reported that a MOU was close to execution for an MOU with a potential 
host for the Summer, 2007, meeting. 

The IAOC discussed various issues related to future international meetings.
