Approval of the Minutes :
The Minutes for the IAOC Calls of June 16th and 23rd, having been
previously distributed and discussed, were accepted.
IAOC Old Business
- NomCom Nominations - Welcome New Members
The IAOC warmly welcomed as new members Jonne Soininen and Ed Juskevicius,
who each provided a brief summary of their background and their hopes for
the IASA restructuring.
After discussion, the IAOC decided to keep the meeting times the same for
the present.
The IAOC Chair described the current consensus-based operating procedures
for the IAOC, and the logistics of the IAOC mailing lists and wiki. After
discussion, the IAOC decided to defer any changes in procedure, or in the
IAOC Chair, until the new members have had the time to become familiar with
the existing structures.
The IAOC discussed possible Face to Face meetings during the Paris IETF,
and decided to have the Chair request a room and times for office hours
from the Secretariat. !IAD Report

The IAD briefed the IAOC on his first Face to Face meeting with Brian
Carpenter, in Chicago, and his preparations with Lynn St. Amour for the
upcoming ISOC Board meeting in Paris.
The IAD reported on the progress of discussions with NeuStar, and on his
plans to meet with the staff of the RFC Editor during the upcoming week.
The IAD has initiated regular weekly phone calls with NeuStar personnel to
facilitate the progress of the proposed draft contract.
