Approval of the Minutes

The approval of this Minutes were deferred.

IAD Report for May 4, 2006

The IAD reported that everything appeared to be on track for the Montreal
meeting (IETF-66), with 4 contracts with additional ("overflow") hotels under
review.

Possible overflow hotels for IETF-67 have been identified and are under review.
Locations for IETF-68 are also under view.

The IAOC discussed the desired level of detail for financial reporting to the
community.

The IAOC discussed various IPR issues, including the need for a document
retention policy.

IAOC Old Business

The 90 day review scheduled under the contract with NeuStar Secretariat
Services (NSS) was discussed. The IAOC agreed to set up a evaluation meeting
with NSS in early June.

Committee Reports

The RFC Editor Committee reported that the RFC Editor RFP should be ready for
distribution in June.


The IAD Evaluation will be conducted during the IAOC Retreat in early June.


This committee has a teleconference scheduled for the 11th of May.

IAOC New Business


The IAOC discussed the agenda and meeting scheduled for its upcoming Retreat.
They agreed to invite Jorge Contreras, the IETF Counsel, to the retreat as
needed.

House Keeping

The IETF Chair reported that Steve Crocker is following up on feedback from
ICANN on the dates of 2008 - 2010 meetings; the IAOC consensus was that the
2008 - 2010 calendar should not be published until this was obtained.

The IAOC Chair reported that she would have to miss the next meeting, and that
the IAOC Meeting on 5/18 would be canceled due to multiple other commitments.
