----------

Debrief: Wednesday Plenary

The IAOC discussed the feedback received from the Wednesday Plenary. Complaints

were received that the IAOC presentation was "too boring" and included too much

detail.

Debrief: Meeting with Mark Foster

Discussion: Submission Tracker Tool Bid (NSS)

The IAOC discussed the meeting held previously in Montreal with Mark Foster of

NeuStar about the performance of NeuStar Secretariat Services (NSS) and the

possible addition of tools software support to the NSS contract. A bid has been

received from NSS for software support of the ID Tracker Tool, and this was

also discussed at this time. The consensus of the IAOC was that this could not

proceed until the tools team had agreed to the specification of this tool,

which was expected to happen shortly.

Planning: Thursday Plenary / RFC Editor RFP

Planning: Community input/RFC Editor Draft RFP

The IAOC discussed their contribution to the IAB presentation on the RFC Editor

RFP, and how best to obtain community input to this activity.

Update: Offer of donated equipment (NOC)

A donor has approached the ISOC and offered to donate equipment in support of

IETF Meeting requirements. The IAOC discussed the details of this donation,

including the costs of shipping, storing, maintaining and upgrading the

equipment, and how this donation will fit under possible future changes in the

meeting host model.

Planning: Prague hosting solicitation

The IAOC discussed the hosting for the Spring, 2007, IETF Meeting, and also

logistical and staffing requirements for that meeting.

Short term support question

As New Business, the IAOC discussed obtaining short term support for the IAD

without coming to a formal conclusion.
