2. Orlando Shuttle Bus Contract
================================
Ray reported on the Orlando Shuttle Bus contract
discussions
The latest bus proposal provides service Monday -
Friday, Monday to Thursday 6:30 – 11:30 pm; Friday
from 1:30 to 11:30 pm. The cost will be about
$20,000.
Buses will go to three destinations, each with a
significant number of restaurants.
The Meetings Committee conclusion is that
i. Service is needed,
ii. Cost up to
not unreasonable, and
iii. Details for optimizing service needs to be left
to staff
The busses come with a coordinator and the actual
schedule will be more dynamic based on how many people
show up. It’s hard to anticipate exactly what it’s
going to be. When the Plenary lets out there’s going
to be a surge. The IAOC has until Wednesday to cancel
Friday if necessary.

requests the Internet Society to enter into such
